Typedream is a NOCODE solution, inspired in Notion, specifically for creating websites.
Notion for websites
When we call Typedream “Notion for websites,” we are not just generalizing. Typedream took inspiration from Notion’s ease of use and aims to bring that ease to creating websites.
Sure, you can publish stuff directly from Notion to the Web, but it is a nice feature, not the final product that Notion is delivering. Notion is all about collaboration, sharing, and organizing information. As a part of that, you can share information on the Web.
Third-party services
There are third-party services available that let you map a domain to a Notion page and add analytics and other such marketing-related goodies to your page. These services work through scripts that intercept your pages on the way to the end-user’s browser and change their HTML and CSS.
Any changes in how Notion generates that HTML and CSS can break the way these services work, thus breaking your site. Typedream’s value proposition gives you the simplicity and ease of use associated with Notion while taking care of these extra steps needed to turn a page into a functional website.
Ease of use
We created a website with three pages within about one hour of starting to use the service. Our previous familiarity with Notion and the knowledge that Typedream was inspired by it were contributing factors to lowering the entry bar for me. Still, we believe that it shouldn’t be much more difficult for a person that hasn’t ever used Notion. Both applications are straightforward to use.
Early-Access
Typedream is currently in the early-access phase. I was assured, though, that its move to general availability is not far.
Recently, we held a live online event for the PRO members of the BeNOCODER community in Brazil, showing how to create a website with Typedream. The folks at Typedream were kind enough to make a special link available to our viewers and readers, allowing the creation of an early-access account, bypassing the usual registration process.

NOCODE Movers & Shakers
A few months ago, we started recording a series of video conversations with some of the people behind the companies helping to push the NOCODE movement forward.
In this issue of The NOCODER, we share the second episode of this series, a conversation between one of the creators of the BeNOCODER community and Arun Saigal, CEO, and co-founder of Thunkable.
